Description
The Education Specialist will create and implement high-quality curriculum and enrichment programming for the COMPASS After School Program and Summer Program. The role develops lesson plans, coordinates programming, maintains instructional resources, and coaches, trains, observes, and supports Activity Specialists, Group Leaders, Youth Workers, and volunteers. It is a part-time, in-person position in New York City requiring a bachelor's degree in education, at least one year of teaching or lesson-plan experience, and experience coaching staff and developing curriculum for school-age children.
