Lethbridge School Division is hiring Educational Assistants, primarily for its substitute list, to support Kindergarten through Grade 12 students with behavioural challenges, complex physical disabilities, developmental delays, severe medical needs, and other individualized learning needs. The role involves adapting academic tasks, implementing individualized programs and Positive Behaviour Support Plans, providing behavioural, personal care, lifting, toileting, and medical support, monitoring progress, ensuring safety, and collaborating with teachers and school teams. Applicants need Grade 12/CAEC or a related post-secondary certificate or diploma, plus training or experience with severe behaviour challenges, neurodiversity, and student support; specialized training and communication-related experience are assets. Hours vary from 0 to 29.5 per week, Monday to Friday. Substitute pay is $23.53 per hour, increasing to $24.23 per hour on September 1, 2026; the posting closes November 30, 2026.
