Description
The Educational Assistant (EA IV) - Affective Needs (AN) Program provides intensive, individualized support to students with complex emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. The role implements crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies, supports emotional regulation and social-emotional learning, assists with IEP goals and classroom participation, maintains behavior and emotional progress data, and collaborates with special education and mental health professionals. The position is based at Mesa Middle School, requires a high school education or equivalent and First Aid and CPR certification, and is scheduled for 37.5 hours per week at $19.84–$25.20 per hour, with benefits and paid time off.
