Description
The Educational Assistant (EA IV) - Significant Support Needs (SSN) Program provides one-on-one support to a student with significant support needs across general education, special education, and non-instructional school settings. Responsibilities include implementing the student's IEP, behavior intervention plan, and health care plan; facilitating social interaction; assisting with transitions and mobility; providing personal care; managing safety and crisis responses; and recording progress. The role is based at Sedalia Elementary, requires a high school education or equivalent, and offers 37.5 scheduled hours per week at $19.84–$25.20 per hour, with health, vision, dental, retirement, and other benefits.
