Description
The Educational Assistant (EA IV) - Significant Support Needs (SSN) Program provides intensive, individualized support to students with moderate to severe cognitive disabilities and possible physical, health, or medical impairments. The role assists with positioning, transfers, mobility, health monitoring, emergency medication, personal care, safety, IEP implementation, and communication support. It requires a high school education or equivalent, physical ability to lift 40–70 pounds and perform classroom activities, and is scheduled for 37.5 hours per week at Douglas County High School. The position pays $19.84–$25.20 per hour and is open until filled before December 15, 2026.
