Description
The In-Home Educator 1 – Life Skills Educator provides in-home and community-based training to children and adults with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include teaching daily living skills such as toilet training, hygiene, grooming, travel, and social skills; following individual service plans; locating community resources; maintaining records; and reporting possible abuse or neglect. The role requires experience working with persons with developmental disabilities, CPR/First Aid certification, a driver’s license, auto insurance, and a background check, and is available full-time or part-time in the San Fernando Valley and Santa Clarita areas.
