Description
The Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles (MOCA) is hiring a part-time Educator for its Education department to support Contemporary Art Start (CAS), a year-long partnership program for 3rd-12th grade classrooms across Los Angeles County. The role focuses on facilitating discussion-based student tours, teacher professional development using Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS), co-developing curriculum and family programs, and supporting other community and teen programs. The position is largely centered on contemporary art education, inclusive and anti-oppressive teaching practices, and collaboration with diverse teams, with some remote work and in-person weekend/summer availability required.
