The Maymont Foundation is hiring a full-time, non-formal Educator to plan, coordinate, and deliver environmental, historical, and other educational programming for children and guests at Maymont in Richmond, Virginia. The role includes animal care, program evaluation, public speaking, fundraising support, and collaboration with other departments. Candidates need one year of non-formal teaching or related experience, familiarity with Virginia standards, animal-handling willingness, and a valid driver’s license; an associate’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
