Hands-on software development role on State Street’s eFX development team in Boston, MA, focused on building, supporting, and maintaining a large, high-volume trading platform that operates Sunday to Friday on a follow-the-sun basis. The role requires strong Java development skills, experience with distributed and transactional systems, Linux/Bash, Oracle, build tools such as Git/Maven/Jenkins/Artifactory, and familiarity with SDLC, release management, and financial trading concepts. Candidates should have at least a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field and around 3 years of software developer experience, with bonus experience in messaging frameworks, low-latency trading, order management systems, and financial communications protocols.
