Description

NCS is hiring an AI Engineer to build, test, and deploy production Agentic AI systems for its Autonomous Networks Programme. The role covers end-to-end AI workstreams, agentic application development, RAG pipelines, multi-agent orchestration, OSS and ServiceNow integrations, telemetry and event-streaming pipelines, guardrails, observability, evaluation, and safe deployment. Candidates need at least three years of AI/ML engineering experience, including production Agentic AI experience, along with strong Python, LLM, RAG, and DevOps capabilities.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI/ML, or a related technical field
Required Previous Experiences: At least 3 years of AI/ML engineering experience, including at least 1 year in production Agentic AI systems
Experience building AI agents that call external tools, manage state, and operate in production environments
Experience with LLM APIs or open-source LLMs in production, including prompt engineering, evaluation, and cost management
Experience building production RAG pipelines with vector databases, hybrid search, and reranking
Experience with at least one agentic AI framework
Strong Python, Git, CI/CD, Docker, and LLMOps experience
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telco, utilities, or other 24×7 critical infrastructure environments
Familiarity with OSS systems, network alarm management, NETCONF/YANG, or gNMI streaming telemetry
Experience with event streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka or Pulsar
Experience integrating with ServiceNow REST API for ITSM data
Experience with AI observability tools
Experience implementing AI systems under regulatory or formal risk governance frameworks
Familiarity with network automation platforms
Familiarity with TM Forum frameworks and the Autonomous Network Maturity Model
