Description
NCS is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to design and operate AI-ready data pipelines for production-grade AI, machine learning, and RAG systems. The role covers ingestion, cleaning, transformation, batch and streaming workflows, data quality, RAG indexing, vector-search infrastructure, data governance, PII redaction, access controls, lineage, and compliance in regulated sectors. It also involves rapid data assessment during FDE and POC engagements, production-scale system development and maintenance, collaboration with AI Engineers and AI Architects, and mentoring junior engineers. The ideal candidate has at least five years of data engineering experience, strong SQL and systems-language skills, experience with AI/ML or RAG pipelines, and familiarity with vector databases and data governance.
