Description
The EHS Engineer will report to the Senior Manager of EHS for the Americas and develop, implement, and administer environmental, health, and safety policies, programs, procedures, training, compliance systems, field activities, and emergency response initiatives for Texas Operations. The role leads regulatory and employee safety training, OSHA VPP STAR and Responsible Care compliance, incident investigations, field audits and inspections, confined-space authorization, emergency response team readiness, fire and rescue equipment inspections, emergency coordination, and maintenance of training records and competency programs. A bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental studies, or engineering and at least five years of experience are required; chemical plant EHS experience is preferred.
