Description
The Deputy Environmental Health and Safety Leader serves as the on-site EHS leader’s deputy, leading environmental, health, and safety initiatives; participating in root-cause investigations; advising on equipment projects; representing the site with regulators and insurers; and supporting safety, sustainability, ISO 14001, and certification efforts. The role requires a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent, three years of industrial or manufacturing experience, and auditing certification, with leadership experience preferred. The position is based in Canaan, Connecticut, on the first shift from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a minimum of four days of in-office presence per week.
