Description
This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing various EHS tasks such as risk assessments, monitoring hazards, and medical surveillance. The individual will actively participate in technical EHS tasks like change management reviews, machinery risk evaluations, maintenance safety revisions, and permit processes. They will lead the implementation of EHS within BD Excellence, conduct incident investigations, ensure corrective actions, and direct EHS training. Responsibilities also include leading emergency response plans, supporting behavioral safety programs, following up on action plans for opportunities of environmental safety, acting as an EHS advocate, conducting audits, assisting during regulatory visits, serving on the Safety Committee, auditing procedures, creating new procedures incorporating EHS needs, performing clean-up audits, understanding necessary rules and legal compliance, developing relationships with colleagues, obtaining and maintaining certifications, and providing support for other business needs.
