Amazon is hiring a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist in Aurora, Colorado to lead safety programs, audits, incident investigations, risk assessments, training, and continuous improvement while advocating for associate wellbeing. The role requires a high school or equivalent, EHS-related experience or education, OSHA 29 CFR 1910 knowledge, Microsoft Word and Excel experience, and confidentiality experience; First Aid, CPR, and AED certification must be obtained within three weeks of start if not already held. The position involves flexible day, night, and weekend shifts, physical work including lifting up to 49 pounds and standing or walking for up to 12 hours, and emergency response support. The base salary is 28.94–33.41 USD per hour, with health, dental, vision, and other benefits.
