Description
The Environmental, Health and Safety Manager will lead safety, occupational health, environmental, and DOT compliance programs at an AMPI manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include training and enforcing safety policies, managing industrial hygiene and hazardous-waste programs, conducting EHS inspections and corrective-action tracking, monitoring safety and environmental data, managing workers’ compensation claims, maintaining records, and partnering with brand-owner leadership. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a bachelor’s degree in a safety-related field or equivalent education and experience, and three to five years of operational safety management experience; food-industry experience, fluid-milk and cheese operations knowledge, and relevant certifications are preferred.
