Description
The Plant Environmental, Health and Safety Manager is responsible for establishing and promoting a safe and healthy plant environment, ensuring compliance with OSHA, NIOSH, EPA, and other applicable regulations, conducting audits and inspections, investigating incidents, developing safety and environmental programs, providing training, and leading continuous-improvement initiatives. The role requires a bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental science, or a related field, at least two years of EHS experience involving employee leadership and coaching, knowledge of OSHA and EPA requirements, and experience with behavior-based safety techniques.
