Catholic Charities of Baltimore Caritas House is hiring an Elder Assistant to provide around-the-clock support to physically or socially impaired senior residents. The role includes activities of daily living, medication administration and documentation, controlled-substance counts, infection control, dining and housekeeping support, and incident reporting. The schedule is PRN or on-call, with no remote or hybrid work available. The position requires a Certified Medical Technician or Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the Maryland Board of Nursing, or two years of direct elder-care experience, along with first aid and food-handling certifications within the first six months. A Lead Elder Assistant role is also described, requiring at least two years of direct care in a residential, assisted-living, or long-term-care setting.
