Description

UP Health System – Portage is hiring a full-time Elder Associate (CNA) for evening/night shifts at Winona House, providing basic nursing and personal care to elderly residents under Registered Nurse direction. Duties include positioning, lifting and turning patients, assisting with mobility and toileting, bathing and grooming, changing linens, maintaining rooms, recording vital signs and intake/output, documenting care, and responding to call lights and communication systems. Michigan Nurse Aide certification, Basic Life Support, ServSafe, a relevant program graduation, and a high school diploma or equivalent are required, with 1–2 years of CNA experience preferred.

Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications: 1–2 years of CNA experience.
