The University of Alabama is hiring a tenure-track Associate Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering in Tuscaloosa. The role requires a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline, a record of impactful scholarly publications, research program development, and teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates should demonstrate potential to lead and fund a productive research group, collaborate with existing faculty, and contribute to the department’s research and educational mission. Preferred qualifications include experience at a leading peer R1 institution, strong graduate-student mentoring, external grant funding, and nationally or internationally recognized publications.
