Description
ABB is hiring a hybrid Robotics Automation Engineer to develop control and automation concepts for robotized systems, special machines, and automated laboratory systems. The role includes electrical design, schematics, BOMs, PLC, HMI, and safety-control programming and commissioning, engineering-package responsibility, project reviews, FAT/SAT and customer acceptance support, and collaboration with customers, suppliers, project teams, and sales. Candidates need a technical qualification or degree in electrical engineering, automation, mechatronics, or a related field, several years of experience in automation, robotics, or machine and plant engineering, and knowledge of PLCs, safety controls, electrical design, machine safety, and CE compliance.
