The client is hiring an experienced Electrical & Controls Project Engineer I for an onsite role in Cambridgeshire. The position leads electrical and controls projects from concept through implementation, supports maintenance and process engineering, develops equipment specifications and documentation, manages project schedules, and contributes to equipment breakdowns, control-system improvements, and production efficiency. Candidates need an electrical engineering degree or equivalent, manufacturing or process experience, PLC and industrial-drive knowledge, instrumentation and safety-system expertise, and familiarity with commissioning, machine safety, and risk-assessment methods. The role requires existing UK permanent work eligibility and does not offer sponsorship.
