Description
The Electrical & Instrumentation Technician troubleshoots, repairs, commissions, and maintains plant electrical and instrumentation systems in an oil and gas environment. The role includes low-voltage troubleshooting, PLC and three-phase motor control, mechanical equipment maintenance, preventive and predictive maintenance, digital and pneumatic control testing, calibration, root-cause analysis, documentation in Upkeep, and as-built drawing updates. The position requires at least five years of experience, knowledge of instrumentation and mechanical systems, and availability for extended shifts, overtime, holidays, and travel as needed.
