Description
Rising Edge Group is hiring a registered Electrical Apprentice to support substation construction and maintenance projects throughout British Columbia. Reporting to a Journeyperson Electrician, the apprentice assists with installing, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining low- and high-voltage equipment, including transformers, circuit breakers, switches, protection and control systems, SCADA, HMIs, and RTUs. The role includes grounding-grid installation, structural-steel erection, power and network cabling, documentation, preventive maintenance, and safety compliance. It requires travel, work at heights and in adverse weather, and is safety-sensitive. The position offers rotating schedules, CAD $24.50–$41.70 hourly compensation, benefits, paid training, and travel or camp accommodations for out-of-town projects.
