Description
Rising Edge Group is hiring a Registered Electrical Apprentice to support substation construction and maintenance projects throughout British Columbia. Reporting to a Journeyperson Electrician, the apprentice assists with installing, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining low- and high-voltage substation equipment, including transformers, circuit breakers, switches, protection and control equipment, SCADA systems, HMIs, and RTUs. The role involves grounding grids, structural steel erection, cabling, documentation, safety compliance, travel to remote sites, and work at heights and in adverse weather. It offers rotating schedules, overtime, camp or lodging support for out-of-town work, and CAD 24.50–41.70 hourly compensation.
