Description
Ford is hiring an Electronics Platform Architecture Engineer to define and evolve vehicle electrical architectures from program creation through post-launch. The role owns core electrical hardware architecture, captures electrical and software architecture content, resolves architectural issues, develops future computing platforms, and works with functional teams on KPIs such as packaging, power utilization, network bandwidth, and CPU utilization. The position requires an electrical or computer engineering bachelor’s degree, at least three years of automotive electrical architecture experience, and familiarity with microcontrollers, microprocessors, and simulation tools. It is a hybrid role with a base salary range of $74,300 to $166,200 and no visa sponsorship.
