Ford is hiring an Electronics Platform Architecture Engineer to define and evolve vehicle electrical architectures from program creation through post-launch. The role owns core electrical hardware architecture, captures electrical and software architecture content, resolves architectural issues, defines KPIs, and designs future computing platforms. It requires an electrical or computer engineering bachelor’s degree, at least three years of automotive electrical architecture experience, and familiarity with microcontrollers, microprocessors, and simulation tools such as MATLAB and Simulink. The position is hybrid, offers a base salary of $74,300 to $166,200, and does not provide visa sponsorship.
