Description

HDR is hiring an Associate Director - Electrical to lead electrical engineering design and project delivery for mission-critical and data center projects within its Building Engineering Services Group. The role oversees concept through detailed design, tendering, site supervision, quality and safety compliance, budgets, resources, client relationships, business development, and team leadership. Candidates need at least 7 years of relevant experience, degree-level education or equivalent, strong project and people management abilities, and experience with electrical design software such as Amtech, Dialux, Revit, and Bluebeam.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Degree-level education or equivalent, preferably in electrical engineering.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 7 years of experience designing and managing mission-critical data center projects.
Experience monitoring projects on site, working with contractors, and witnessing testing and commissioning.
Leadership and people management experience.
Experience managing ongoing projects with limited supervision.
Preferred Qualifications: Chartered Engineer status.
Experience monitoring contract staff or third-party appointments.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
