Description
The Electrical Battery Engineer III is a senior individual contributor responsible for the electrical design, analysis, validation, and qualification of battery cells, modules, and pack-level systems for high-reliability aerospace, defense, and industrial energy storage applications. The role leads BMS integration, electrical and thermal analysis, safety and environmental testing, documentation, root-cause investigations, customer and supplier technical reviews, and the transition of designs from prototype to production, while mentoring junior engineers. It requires a bachelor's degree in electrical or electrochemical engineering, 5–8+ years of battery or energy storage system design experience, advanced lithium-ion or other cell chemistry knowledge, BMS and protection-circuit experience, simulation and analysis proficiency, familiarity with relevant standards, and the ability to obtain or maintain a security clearance or meet ITAR/EAR requirements.
