Description
The Commissioning Engineer manages and executes commissioning projects for new construction and existing buildings, focusing on electrical systems, emergency power, power distribution, lighting control, fire alarm, security, CCTV, access control, and HVAC controls. The role includes design and submittal reviews, contract-document interpretation, test procedures, communications, reporting, project oversight, and client relationship management. It requires an ABET-accredited engineering or related degree, at least four years of commissioning or related experience, knowledge of NEC and NECA standards, and familiarity with electrical equipment, control systems, and test equipment.
