Description
The Component Engineer will identify new electrical and mechanical components for UPS, power switching, and power distribution products used in data centers. The role involves sourcing components, creating and revising specifications, drawings, schematics, harnesses, and assemblies, ensuring compliance with UL, CE, and NEC requirements, managing engineering change orders in a PLM system, identifying VAVE opportunities, and supporting field product changes. The position requires an engineering degree, strong electrical and mechanical engineering knowledge, CAD proficiency, and familiarity with power systems and component selection.
