DISHER is partnering with a leading global manufacturer in Grand Rapids, Michigan to fill an Electrical Controls Engineer position. The role supports control system design, equipment development, documentation, and internal engineering initiatives for advanced surface preparation equipment. Responsibilities include reviewing design requirements, completing concept and detail designs, preparing bills of materials, layouts, schematics, software design and test, design calculations, and project documentation. The position requires an electrical engineering degree or equivalent, electrical aptitude, schematic design and PLC/HMI/CNC/robot software skills, troubleshooting ability, CAD and communication skills, and limited travel.
