Matrix Technologies is hiring an Electrical Controls Engineer for a hybrid role based in the Minneapolis office in Edina, Minnesota. The position designs electrical control panels, MCCs, VFD panels, PLC I/O schematics, panel layouts, cable schedules, and motor-circuit diagrams; coordinates with clients, OEMs, suppliers, and installation contractors; supports field start-ups and I/O checks; and contributes to sales proposals. The role requires 3–5 years of related automation and electrical design experience, an ABET-accredited BSEE or BSEET degree, AutoCAD experience, and approximately 20–25% travel. Compensation is $78,000–$101,000 annually plus overtime eligibility and other benefits.
