Description
The Electrical Engineer will design, plan, and implement engineering projects for Lafayette plant production and physical plant equipment, including electrical upgrades, control systems, PLCs, drives, HMIs, and computer interfaces. The role manages project schedules and costs, coordinates procurement and capital expenditures, supports safety and maintenance activities, troubleshoots electrical and electronic problems, and provides plant-wide technical support. Required qualifications include an electrical engineering degree or equivalent with five or more years of industrial manufacturing experience, PLC and VFD knowledge, HMI programming ability, CAD and computer software proficiency, and strong project-management skills.
