Description
The Electrical Controls Technician will support the Plant Engineering team in maintaining facility and manufacturing equipment, upgrading equipment and systems, coordinating plant rearrangements, assisting with equipment procurement and installation, and supporting day-to-day operations. The role is off-shift and based in the Core Plant in Whitehall, Michigan, and requires an associate degree in a relevant technical field with at least three years of equipment build or maintenance experience, or ten years of experience in equipment build, maintenance, and PLC control systems. PLC programming, HMI programming, Allen Bradley PLC and RSLogix5000, electrical distribution, AutoCAD, industrial robots, safety standards, casting technologies, vacuum systems, and SCADA integration are preferred qualifications.
