Description
The Electrical Controls Technician - Weekend Crew supports Plant Engineering with controls-systems expertise, equipment reliability, capital improvement, advanced troubleshooting, PLC/HMI support, and equipment optimization. The role partners with Plant Engineering, Skilled Trades, and external contractors and begins with weekday training before transitioning to a weekend crew working three 12-hour shifts. Candidates need an associate degree in a relevant field plus either three years of equipment build/maintenance or manufacturing experience, or ten years of equipment build/maintenance and PLC control-systems experience; PLC programming, HMI programming, Allen Bradley PLC and RSLogix5000, AutoCAD, industrial robots, electrical-distribution knowledge, and SCADA experience are preferred.
