Description
The Electrical Design Engineer will support preliminary design and project phases in the defense and shipbuilding sector, preparing vessel electrical specifications, sizing equipment, preparing quotations, approving equipment purchases, validating design files, coordinating with project managers and inspection bodies, and developing standards and improvement solutions. The role requires engineering-level electrical education or significant experience as an electrical design drafter, shipbuilding electrical engineering experience, English proficiency, and strong technical, interpersonal, and management skills; 3D experience is an asset. The assignment is long term, CDIC, based in Normandy, and requires full on-site work.
