Description
SpaceX is hiring an Electrical Design Engineer for its Raptor 3D Printer team to own the electrical systems of Laser Powder Bed Fusion printers from requirements and circuit design through qualification, integration, testing, and production deployment. The role includes PCB and schematic design, hardware bring-up, debugging, root-cause analysis, test setup, and cross-functional collaboration with mechanical, software, automation, and controls teams. A bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering and at least three years of industry experience designing circuits, electronic products, or hardware are required; the role may require extended hours and weekend work and offers base salary of $105,000–$140,000 for Level 1 or $120,000–$170,000 for Level 2, plus medical, vision, dental, retirement, and other benefits.
