AWC is expanding its electrical design capabilities and is looking for a skilled Electrical Design Technologist. This career-level role involves leading the development and drafting of comprehensive electrical and I&C project documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The technologist will collaborate with engineering teams on water and wastewater treatment projects, contribute to various stages from layout to construction packages, and take ownership of the technical documentation process.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of experience in electrical design of industrial equipment and packaged systems.
Strong hands-on experience with the full range of electrical drafting deliverables: single line diagrams, cable schedules, electrical schematics, interface drawings, site layouts, panel drawings and schedules, conduit layouts, and instrumentation loop diagrams.
3+ years working with AutoCAD Electrical drafting software.
Preferred Qualifications: E.T. or C.Tech. designation is considered an asset.
Experience with instrumentation, controls, and automation systems is an asset.
Experience with fabrication and/or construction of custom electrical control panels is an asset.
3D modelling experience is an asset.
