Description
The Electrical Designer supports the project team under the supervision of a Lead Designer or Engineer by creating trade-specific electrical schematics and layouts, performing surveys, load and voltage-drop calculations, equipment selections, and construction-administration tasks such as reviewing shop drawings and preparing field reports. The role requires at least two years of experience in a junior electrical design role, a four-year engineering degree, strong communication and organizational skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and working knowledge of AutoCAD and REVIT. The position also includes intermediate-level project-management, coordination, quality-control, and Job Captain responsibilities.
