Description
The role creates and modifies AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical schematics for automation projects involving electric arc furnaces, ladle metallurgical furnaces, vacuum tank degassers, continuous casters, rolling mills, and metallurgy and process-line equipment. The position assists senior designers, develops proficiency in new CAD methods, produces PLC cabinet and control-desk arrangement drawings, and links individual schematics into complete packages. It requires formal AutoCAD training and a basic understanding of electrical theory, and offers medical, dental, vision, paid leave, retirement matching, training, and tuition reimbursement.
