Description
The City of Stockholm is hiring an Electrical Designer for its Traffic Engineering unit to support the reconstruction and new construction of traffic signals and other traffic-engineering systems. The role involves independent CAD-based design using DpCom, Microstation, and AutoCAD, utility coordination, project-team collaboration, and occasional travel to facilities and project offices. Candidates need relevant electrical engineering education, several years of recent experience in electrical design, lighting, traffic signals, or underground cable installation, experience with AMA Electrical/Construction, CAD and IT skills, and a category B driver’s license. The position is based at the Technical Committee House in Stockholm or at project sites, with flexible working hours and the option to alternate office work with working from home two days per week.
