Description
Blue Ridge Community and Technical College is hiring a flexible faculty member to teach and develop curriculum in utilities and energy education. The role combines classroom instruction, technical demonstrations, assessment, curriculum and instructional design, workforce training, consulting, student advising, and professional development. It is based at the Technical Center with opportunities for in-person and remote work, and may require travel. Candidates need an active driver’s license, computer and communication skills, physical ability to demonstrate skills, and at least five years of utility and energy workforce experience; an associate degree is preferred but considerable industry experience may substitute.
