Description
The Electrical Controls Engineer designs electrical control systems for custom automation equipment, including assembly, inspection, and testing systems. The role develops schematics, panel layouts, and bills of material; integrates electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; collaborates with mechanical, controls, manufacturing, and program teams; supports machine build, debugging, startup, validation, and customer acceptance; and contributes to standards, documentation, and continuous improvement. The position requires 1–5 years of electrical design experience in industrial automation or manufacturing, experience with custom machinery or test equipment, and proficiency with EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or AutoCAD.
