Description
Red Metals is hiring an Electrical Engineer to design, build, commission, and operate the electrical systems for its first copper processing and refining plant in Charleston, South Carolina. The role owns power distribution, motor control, switchgear, transformers, grounding, industrial controls, reliability, energy efficiency, and plant performance, while partnering with mechanical, chemical, metallurgical, and controls engineers and coordinating with vendors, contractors, utilities, and permitting authorities. The position requires a degree in electrical engineering or equivalent hands-on experience, 3–8+ years of electrical engineering experience, industrial power and motor-control expertise, and on-site work in an industrial environment.
