Description
The Electrical Component Engineer will lead alternate-component and COTS/OEM component strategies across programs, including Form, Fit, and Function analysis, supplier partnerships, qualification, validation, and lifecycle sustainability. The role requires technical leadership in component selection, global electrical standards, system-level analysis, supply-chain risk mitigation, cross-functional collaboration, and team mentoring. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience or a master’s degree with 10+ years, or equivalent industry experience, along with expertise in electrical components, qualification methodologies, and stakeholder management. The role may be performed in an On-site Flex or Virtual Flex hybrid arrangement.
