The role involves selecting components, designing electrical board assemblies, performing RF link-budget and bandwidth analyses, designing RF chains, implementing encoding and compression algorithms, and conducting field testing. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field, at least three years of relevant experience, Altium experience, and working knowledge of RF hardware and UAS radios.
