Description
Ascend Performance Materials is hiring an Electrical Reliability Engineer for its Chocolate Bayou M&R organization. The role owns reliability programs for high- and medium-voltage distribution equipment, including PdM and PM strategies, asset databases, critical single-point-of-failure projects, outage response, and training for high- and medium-voltage technicians. The engineer reports to the Senior Reliability Manager, has no direct reports, and works with maintenance and reliability engineers and technicians. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, at least five years of experience in the chemical or petrochemical industry, knowledge of continuous operations in a PSM-covered plant, and experience with high- and medium-voltage electrical systems; CMRP or similar reliability certification and SAP experience are preferred.
