Description
The Electrical Engineer will provide technical support to the plant's electrical department, lead the extension of service life for critical electrical assets, develop equipment monitoring and diagnostic processes, train maintenance personnel, and participate in reliability, preventive maintenance, failure analysis, project scheduling, and plant improvement activities. The role also involves maintaining technical documentation, establishing plant standards, contributing to medium- to long-term project planning and budgets, and replacing electrical coordinators as needed. Candidates must hold a university degree in electrical or automated production engineering, be members of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, have at least five years of comparable experience, and possess PLC programming and instrumentation and control experience.
