Description
bp is hiring an Electrical Engineer to support the Tangguh LNG generation and distribution network. The role provides frontline engineering support, risk and reliability management, incident and root-cause analysis, equipment strategies, brownfield modification assurance, and technical support for turnarounds, outages, and plant projects. Responsibilities include steam-turbine generators, transformers, substations, switchgear, electrical distribution, power-management systems, SCADA, ETAP studies, hazardous-area equipment, and electrical reliability. The position requires a bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Power Engineering and at least 10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience, with LNG/O&G operations and maintenance exposure preferred. It is a hybrid office/remote role with up to 10% travel and life and health insurance benefits.
